in this thread i would like to present the same question " what is a fact" from a different viewpoint.. many j.w children have loving parents ( that is a fact) but parents who insanley demanded unquestioning obidience to their deranged standards.. so " what is a fact" to innocent children is that a god who they have never seen nor heard, will destroy them if they dont live to the g.bs deranged standards.. so basically these children have been taught the wrong meaning of words:-.

I was trying to share that opinion without getting slaughterd on my earlier thread " what is a fact".
On this thread i am trying to establish " facts are not always what we chooce to believe"
P.S punk, i was in the libary reading a 6 month old " Mojo" magazine. It was sad to read Lou Reid died, and i loved the article on the " Ruts" A great punk band that quite made it.

But that is my point " loveandhateexams" unconditional love can equal unconditional obidence. That is what J.W parents call a FACT.
It is that thought provoking fact, that raises the question are facts without feeling. If so then what seperates a fact from the word " organisation"? both are words with out feelings. Can the humun spirit be more than a fact?

I felt i was opening myself up to ridicule with post. I am glad my question has been received so respectively.
Now to suggest my O.P " What is a fact, a bizarre fantazy" is a genius question would be refutable and not a fact. But that loving parennts can make a child worship a bizarre fantasy and brainwash me in to believing as facts what were non facts.
I mean where and what is crazy and what facts are become very distubing or as James Dean said in " rebel" " How can a kid grow up in a cirus liken that"
So of course a ex J.W kid is haunted by the past, and becomes confused with what a fact is. Having said that i think such disturbing thoughts are healthy.

If that is true, is then a is not a fact, nothing more than a sadistic joke? because " evidence has convicted many innocent people"
Galazie, i can say as i fact i am not an intellectual, i can also say i am finding in my search of facts, that facts are very unpridictable.

Was droping bomb on Hiroshima in 1945 evil?
by new hope and happiness insorry for such a depressing question, but i was moved by a picture i saw of the consequences.
( a woman carrying her child) and i realised:-.
a) it was a civillian population.. b) i don't see how a nuclear holocaust can ever be right.. c) they could have bombed tokyo where all the generals lived but chose hiroshima.. d) the irony after the bombing america conceeded to many of japans terms.. your opinion would be valued..

And to do so would it not be wrong if the question is not taken to the ultimate exstreme?
Do facts stop us questioning the boundaries of humun existence?
